We are located on 12 beautiful acres in Burnsville, North Carolina at 1126 Prices Creek Road in Yancey County, the gateway to Mt. Mitchell. Wholesale are always welcome. Rhododendron Maximum & Kalmia Latifolia
Selected and Dug To Order
Carolina Native Nursery horticulturalists select and tag every plant for your order. Only then do your plants get dug. This insures that your plants match, are the size you need, aren't loose, and are as fresh as possible. The fresher they are when you receive them, the better they will respond to transplanting, experience less shock, and look better in your clients landscape. Vastly superior than plants healed in for months. Rhododendron maximum (Rosebay Rhododendron) are available from 2-3' to 7-8', in regular grade and jumbo. Kalmia latifolia (Mountain Laurel) are available from 2-3' to 7-8' in regular and jumbo grade. Look at the pictures on our Facebook Page. Click on the catalog button above for pricing.
We also have a limited supply of native azaleas that we will start to dig soon. Rhododendron calendulaceum (Flame Azalea), Rhododendron arborescens (Sweet Azalea), Rhododendron periclymenoides (Pinxterbloom Azalea), ands Rhododendron vaseyi (Pinkshell Azalea) are some of the varieties we have avalaible. We have them in 3 gallon pots too.

Trade Shows Great Success
Thanks for Saying Hello
Thanks to all of you that stopped by to see us. Carolina Native Nursery just returned from three weeks of trade shows and would like to report that our industry appears to be excited, reports of growth and spring orders were prevalent. The weather in Baltimore was sunny and relatively mild. With over 10,000 attendees, MANTS seems to continue to be the foremost show in the U.S. today. Our home show, The Green & Growin' Show in Greensboro allows us to see many friends and clients as well as meet new people every year. The Wintergreen Show in Atlanta continues to be a quality experience for us. Altogether, we had a great time, returning for the spring very positive and excited. We handed out hundreds of catalogs, signed up pages of requests for our newsletters of which we are sending out over 5500 quarterly, and collected handfuls of business cards. We are hearing from many of you already and look forward to hearing from and seeing many more of you this spring. Please do not hestitate if you need any more information from us.

The fact that garden centers have such a limited selection of native shrubs, their staff possesses little knowledge of them, and they are not displayed as a group, makes a trip to see us certainly worthwhile.
